It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Samuel “Sammy” Ramirez, who tragically passed away on Christmas night, December 25, 2024, in a senseless act of violence in Panorama City. Sammy was 28 years old.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. near Cedros Avenue and Parthenia Street, when neighbors reported hearing an argument followed by 15-20 gunshots. Despite the confusion and fear, no one witnessed the shooter, though a red car was seen leaving the scene. Sammy’s life was cut short in an act that has left family and friends devastated.
Sammy will be remembered for his warm smile, his sense of humor, and the love he shared with those closest to him. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend, whose presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
The father of four leaves behind a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old.
