Authorities are investigating after an individual was reportedly stabbed in Portmarnock stabbing. The incident occurred at a Centra at the Dart Station this evening.
Emergency services responded to the scene for a stabbing report. Paramedics attended to the victim, who was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment. The injuries are believed to be serious, though not life-threatening.
According to report, the incident unfolded between two customer that bought something in the shop then outside the shop, one customer reportedly stabbed the other in the back.
Police are currently investigating the circumstances of this incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Officers are working to establish the events that led to this attack.
