It is with deep sorrow that we report the tragic and untimely passing of Terrell Desale Moon, age 36, who was fatally shot on the morning of Sunday, January 7, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio.
At approximately 5:20 a.m., officers with the Columbus Division of Police responded to a report of a shooting at a residence located on the 1200 block of East Hudson Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Terrell in the front room of the home, unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, Terrell was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:27 a.m.
Terrell’s passing has left a profound impact on his family, friends, and the community. Known for his vibrant personality and kind heart, Terrell was a son, brother, and friend who will be remembered for his love of life and the warmth he brought to those around him. While the circumstances of his death are tragic, those who knew Terrell will forever cherish the memories of the joy and laughter he shared with them.
The family asks for privacy during this incredibly difficult time as they grieve the loss of their beloved Terrell.
