Authorities are investigating after an adult female died after jumping off her apartment Wednesday morning at Key Colony in Key Biscayne. Authorities responded to the scene after receiving reports of an individual found unresponsive.
Key Biscayne Police responded to the call around 8:09 a.m. and notified Key Biscayne Fire Rescue, who then pronounced her dead on the scene.
The incident is being investigated as a suicide. No foul play is suspected, and the identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
