BELLFLOWER, CA — A shooting was reported on January 11, 2025, at approximately 4:53 PM at the intersection of Bellflower Blvd and Artesia Blvd. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) and Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) personnel quickly responded to the scene.
The victim, a young girl, sustained a gunshot wound to an unknown part of her body. She was reportedly conscious and breathing when medical teams arrived. Authorities have confirmed that she was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, her condition is stable, but further updates on her health are pending.
Witnesses at the scene reported that the victim and her family had just returned from a funeral, where they had buried a relative.
