DENVER, CO — Police are investigating three “possibly-related” stabbings that occurred on Saturday night in the area of downtown Denver’s 16th Street. The Denver Police Department (DPD) reported the first stabbing shortly before 6 p.m. on the 700 block of 16th Street, between Stout and California streets. One victim was found at the scene and transported to the hospital with injuries.
Approximately an hour later, DPD issued an update confirming two additional stabbings, which they believe may be connected to the initial incident. The circumstances surrounding these stabbings are still under investigation, and authorities have not released details about the victims or the potential suspect(s).
The downtown area, known for its bustling shops and restaurants, was temporarily impacted by police activity as law enforcement worked to secure the scene and gather evidence.
As of now, no further details have been made public, but authorities are continuing to investigate the possible links between the stabbings.
