Michael Duncan, 35, has unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2025, in a vehicle accident on Interstate 71 in Berkshire Township, Delaware County. Michael was involved in a three-vehicle crash that occurred around 5 p.m. when the black Hyundai Tucson he was driving lost control and veered across the median, leading to a head-on collision with a southbound Chevrolet Silverado. Despite efforts by first responders, Michael was pronounced dead at the scene.
Michael’s death leaves a profound hole in the hearts of his family and friends. He was loyal friend to many, always quick to lend a helping hand and share a laugh. Michael’s warm spirit and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to Michael, two passengers in the Hyundai, a 38-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl, were hospitalized with serious injuries. Our thoughts and prayers are with them for a speedy recovery.
A memorial service to celebrate Michael’s life will be announced by the family.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
