Cory tragically lost his life in a residential structure fire on Friday evening, January 17, 2025, in the 1500 block of South 8th Street. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He was known for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and strong sense of loyalty to those he loved. Cory touched the lives of many through his generosity and care for others, leaving a lasting impression on his family and friends.
On the evening of January 17, emergency responders were called to a structure fire where Cory tragically lost his life. Preliminary autopsy findings have indicated that smoke inhalation was the cause of his death.
