The suspect has been identified as 17-year-old Solomon Henderson. He allegedly livestreamed himself and displayed a firearm moments before opening fire inside the school cafeteria.
The shooting occurred at 11:09 a.m. inside the school’s cafeteria, when a 17-year-old male opened fire on his peers. One of the victims, a female student, was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. A male student also sustained injuries, though his wound was described as a grazing injury.
