Seattle, WA – January 26, 2025 – Friends and family have identified the homicide victim from a shooting early Saturday morning as OC Bell, a well-respected life coach, motivational speaker, and father. Bell, who was known for his passion for helping others, was loved by many in the community. His sudden and tragic death has left those who knew him devastated.
The shooting occurred in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue South in the Pioneer Square area, at approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Officers arrived at the scene after a report of the shooting and found Bell, 40, in a car suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts from Seattle Fire Department personnel, Bell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after officers arrived, authorities learned that a 23-year-old woman had arrived at Swedish Hospital with a gunshot wound. She is currently in stable but serious condition.
