It is with profound sorrow that we share the tragic passing of Troy Garlock, a devoted father, and his precious daughter, Elsie Garlock, following a devastating three-vehicle accident in Mesa, Arizona, on the morning of Monday, February 5, 2024. The fatal collision occurred around 8 a.m. along Val Vista Drive, just south of Southern Avenue, sending shockwaves through the community.
Troy, a beloved father, was known for his unwavering love and dedication to his children. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and was an active presence in their lives. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. Above all, Troy’s greatest joy was being a father, cherishing every moment with his children, especially Elsie.
Elsie, just 7 years old, was a vibrant, bright spirit who brought endless joy to her family and friends. Her infectious smile and infectious laughter will be deeply missed. Elsie had a bright future ahead of her, and her loss has left a void that can never be filled.
In addition to the heartbreak felt by Troy and Elsie’s family, the accident left two other children in critical condition. The family requests that the community keep all those affected in their thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
Troy and Elsie are survived by their loving family, who are heartbroken by their sudden loss. A memorial service will be announced in the coming days.
