It is with deep sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Isaiah Fogah, 16, of Toronto, who was the victim of a fatal shooting at an Etobicoke apartment complex on Tuesday night, February 3rd.
Isaiah was one of two males found at the scene near The East Mall and Rathburn Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. He was quickly transported to the hospital but, despite the best efforts of medical staff, succumbed to his injuries. Isaiah’s family, friends, and the community are heartbroken over the loss of such a young and promising life.
The second victim, a 19-year-old male, suffered serious injuries and remains in the hospital.
Isaiah will be remembered for his kind heart, vibrant spirit, and the love he brought to everyone around him. He was a cherished son, brother, and friend, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Our thoughts are with Isaiah’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. A memorial service and further details will be shared soon.
