It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Tre’Von Nyheim Douglas, aged 21, of Birmingham. Tre’Von unexpectedly passed away following shooting in Ensley on the afternoon of Saturday, February 15, 2025, in the Ensley community.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. that day, Birmingham Police Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1400 block of 33rd Street Ensley. Upon arrival, they found Tre’Von lying unresponsive in the backyard of an unoccupied residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the prompt arrival of Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel, Tre’Von was sadly pronounced deceased on the scene.
Tre’Von was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Known for his kind heart and vibrant personality, he touched the lives of many, and his loss leaves an indelible void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, and his unwavering loyalty to those he loved.
Tre’Von is survived by his loving family and many close friends, who will continue to carry his memory with them. While his life was tragically cut short, his spirit will live on through the memories of those who cherished him.
