Westchester Accident- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Sarah McAllister, 18, of the Town of Dover, who tragically lost her life in a car accident on February 27, 2025. Sarah was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, and her passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew her.
Sarah was involved in a fatal two-car crash on Clove Road in the Town of Union Vale. Preliminary investigations indicate that her vehicle, a white 2004 Nissan sedan, lost control on a sharp curve while traveling northbound, crossing into the southbound lane where it was struck by a black Ford Ranger. Despite the best efforts of emergency responders to extricate Sarah from her vehicle, she sustained injuries and was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital Center, where she was later pronounced deceased.
Sarah’s family and friends remember her as a young woman full of promise, whose kindness, humor, and spirit brightened the lives of those around her. She was known for her love of adventure and the genuine connections she formed with others. Sarah’s family and all those who loved her are deeply saddened by this heartbreaking loss.
She is survived by her loving parents, siblings, and many close relatives and friends who will cherish her memory. Her legacy of warmth, love, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
