Herndon, a beloved 22-year-old daughter, sister, and friend, whose life was tragically taken on Wednesday afternoon, March 19, 2025, at Greenbrier Apartments in Columbia, SC. Anaya was found dead in an apartment, a victim of senseless violence.
Anaya was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, and was known for her vibrant spirit, warmth, and unwavering kindness. She touched the lives of many with her compassionate nature, always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to those who needed it most. Anaya’s infectious smile and laughter brightened every room she entered, and her friends and family will forever remember her as someone who radiated love, joy, and positivity.
Anaya’s life was cut far too short, but she leaves behind an indelible legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her parents, siblings, extended family, and countless friends who adored her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
