It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole Silva on March 21, 2025. Nicole was a beloved mother, daughter, friend, and an incredible person whose warmth and positivity left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Nicole was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her kindness, compassion, and ability to brighten someone’s day with a simple gesture or smile made her a truly remarkable individual. She had a gift for seeing the good in people and in every moment, and her infectious optimism brought joy to those around her.
Nicole dedicated 12 years to serving District 47, where she worked as a hearing itinerant across many schools, providing invaluable support to countless students. In addition to her work in education, she also served as a City League coach, where her dedication to guiding and mentoring young people made a significant difference in their lives. Nicole’s positive presence in our schools and community was felt by many, and her unwavering commitment to supporting others left an indelible mark.
Nicole’s memory will live on through the deep personal connections she built with her students, their families, and her colleagues. She will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In this time of sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that Nicole’s legacy of kindness, compassion, and dedication will continue to inspire us all.
