The incident took place near the intersection of US-192 and Fortune Road, prompting a response from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. In a related development, authorities were also involved in a manhunt for a suspect who killed his wife yesterday. The man was located near a Publix in Kissimmee and was quickly apprehended by law enforcement.
This follows a similar incident in April 2022, when deputies were involved in a shooting near the Target in the 4700 block of West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez confirmed that the deputies involved were “fine” following that incident.
