Details of the Incident

On April 6, 2025, at approximately 4:40 a.m., deputies from the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a robbery at the Meijer located on West Saginaw Highway. Store staff observed a man breaking into a locked case and stealing electronics. As he attempted to flee, he collided with several vehicles in the parking lot and then crashed into a tree near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Mall Drive South.
