It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric Hines, who tragically lost his life in Lynn, Massachusetts, overnight. Eric, 37, was fatally shot and later pronounced dead at Salem Hospital despite the efforts of first responders and medical personnel.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Eric was known by friends and family as a kind soul with a big heart and an infectious laugh. His presence brought warmth to every room, and he had a deep love for music, family gatherings, and supporting his community in any way he could.
Eric’s life was cut short far too soon in an act of senseless violence that has left loved ones devastated and searching for answers. Two individuals have been charged in connection with his death and are expected to appear in court next month.
He is survived by his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends who will remember him for his loyalty, his spirit, and the love he gave so freely.
