Michael M. Schille, a longtime resident of South St. Paul, passed away tragically on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Michael was known for his kind heart, sharp wit, and deep connection to his community. Friends and neighbors remember him as a warm, friendly face who always had time for a chat and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Michael’s life was cut short by an act of violence on the evening of April 11, when he was found deceased in his apartment at 707 12th Ave. N. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head.
He is survived by loved ones who are grieving this devastating loss, and who remember him with love and gratitude for the time they shared.
