The Norfolk Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late Saturday night on the campus of Norfolk State University.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 2200 block of Presidential Parkway around 11:30 p.m., according to Emergency Communications officials. Police were quickly dispatched to the scene and are actively investigating the incident.
It is not yet clear how many individuals were involved or if there were any injuries. The university and law enforcement have not released additional information at this time.
