Trinity High School and the Bedford community are mourning the tragic loss of Lauren Souza, a beloved junior at Trinity High School, who passed away in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Back River Road near the intersection with County Road. According to Bedford police, the vehicle struck a utility pole and rolled over. Lauren was the sole occupant and victim of the crash.
Trinity High School confirmed her passing in a statement, describing Lauren as a bright, compassionate, and involved student who was loved by teachers and classmates alike. She was known for her kind heart, radiant smile, and the joy she brought to those around her.
