The tight-knit community of Concord is reeling from an unthinkable tragedy after the devastating loss of two bright young souls, Jimmy McIntosh and Hannah Wasserman, beloved students of Concord-Carlisle High School. Jimmy and Hannah tragically lost their lives in a fatal car accident on the night of April 21st in WaterColor, South Walton County, leaving behind broken hearts and a community united in mourning.

Jimmy and Hannah were more than classmates — they were vibrant, kind-hearted, and full of promise. Both were deeply involved in school life, respected by teachers, admired by peers, and cherished by all who knew them. Whether it was Jimmy’s infectious laugh and passion for sports, or Hannah’s gentle spirit and love for the arts, they each brought light into the lives of so many.

Their loss leaves an immeasurable void, not only in the lives of their families and friends but in the very fabric of the community that watched them grow up. The halls of Concord-Carlisle High School will feel their absence deeply, as will the fields, the classrooms, and the everyday moments they touched so effortlessly.

As Concord grieves, the outpouring of love from neighbors, classmates, teachers, and friends stands as a testament to the incredible impact Jimmy and Hannah had in their short time with us. A memorial will be held later this week to honor their lives and celebrate the love they shared with the world.

They will never be forgotten. May Jimmy and Hannah rest in peace, and may their memories be a blessing and a source of strength in the difficult days ahead.
