Authorities are actively investigating a shooting in Montgomery County, this time at a local veterinary facility. According to report, man in his 20s was shot multiple times Monday afternoon at Dr. Boyd’s Veterinary Resort, located in the 11500 block of Rockville Pike in North Bethesda.

The shooter has been identified as a former co-worker of the victim. Witnesses at the scene reported a confrontation inside the facility before shots rang out. The suspect fled immediately after the shooting and remains at large.

Montgomery County Police and emergency medical services responded quickly to the scene. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital; his condition is currently unknown.
