With deep sorrow, we share that Steve McMichael passed away on April 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments, and we are grateful he was not alone as he left this world.
Steve—affectionately known as “Mongo”—was a beloved husband, father, friend, and teammate. His strength, humor, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many both on and off the field. Whether it was his fierce presence on the football field or his unmatched determination in facing his illness, Steve lived with heart, grit, and grace.
