Ebony Allen, 42, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, following a tragic shooting in the 600 block of Westover Hills Boulevard. She was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Born in 1982, Ebony was a beloved daughter, mother, and friend. Known for her strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family, she touched the lives of many in her community. Her warmth, smile, and resilience left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Ebony was found inside her vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound after Richmond Police responded to the scene around 8:07 p.m. The Medical Examiner will determine the official cause and manner of her death, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Ebony’s family asks for privacy as they grieve this unimaginable loss and remember the joy and love she brought to their lives. Funeral arrangements will be shared at a later date.
In honor of her memory, the family encourages acts of kindness and support for organizations working to end gun violence in the Richmond area.
