It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jesse Byrd, a beloved husband, educator, and community member, who departed this life recently.
Jesse was a dedicated Site Coordinator at McCracken County High School, where he made a lasting impact on the lives of students and staff alike. Prior to that, he served as an In-School Detention Paraprofessional at Lone Oak High School, where his calm demeanor and commitment to student growth earned him the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of many students.
A proud alumnus of Murray State University, Jesse studied Recreation and Leisure Studies, bringing his passion for community, activity, and personal well-being into every aspect of his life and work.
Born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky, Jesse was a lifelong resident who carried a deep love for his hometown. He graduated from Lone Oak High School and remained an active member of the community throughout his life.
Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Karley Renee Byrd, and countless friends, family members, and students whose lives he touched with kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his warm heart, steady presence, and genuine care for others.
