Authorities are currently responding to reports of a shooting at Allen High School in Allen, Texas. Details are still emerging, but initial reports indicate that the incident occurred near the school’s campus. Emergency services have been dispatched to the scene, and the area has been secured.

This incident follows a series of tragic events involving Allen High School students in recent years. In November 2019, 16-year-old Marquel Ellis Jr. was fatally shot at a house party in Plano, Texas. The following year, in April 2020, a Forney ISD student was arrested and charged with murder in connection with Ellis’s death. More recently, in June 2023, 16-year-old A’mya Batie, a varsity cheerleader at Allen High School, was tragically killed in a shooting at a shopping plaza in Lewisville, Texas.

The community remains deeply affected by these incidents, and our thoughts are with the families and friends of those affected. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
